Men After Marriage · Legal Privacy Policy
Last updated October 11, 2026
This policy covers menaftermarriage.com and getbuiltbook.com, both run by Men After Marriage LLC (Benjamin Kingston), referred to here as “we” or “us.” Men come here at a hard point in their lives. We treat what you share accordingly: we collect what we need to sell you a book, run coaching and write to you, and nothing more.
Questions or requests: info@menaftermarriage.com.
What we collect
What you give us
- Email sign-ups and the quiz: your first name, email address and your quiz answers.
- Applications, the contact form and the form on the book’s thank-you page: your name, email and whatever you choose to write.
- Calls you book: the name and email you enter in the booking calendar, and anything you tell us on the call.
- Replies to our emails.
When you buy the book
Checkout is handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, shipping address, phone number (the printer’s carrier requires it) and order details. We never see or store your full card number.
Collected automatically
Like most websites, ours record the pages you visit, the site that sent you, your browser and device type, and your approximate location from your IP address. Two tools do this:
- Rybbit, a privacy-focused analytics tool, which tells us which pages and buttons get used.
- The Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which uses cookies to tell Meta when someone who saw our ad visits the site, starts checkout or buys. That lets us measure our ads and show them to people likely to find the book useful.
What you write to us is never sent to Meta or used for ad targeting. That includes your quiz answers, application, messages and anything about your situation. Meta receives only page visits and purchase events.
How we use it
- To take payment, print and ship your book, and deliver your digital files.
- To send the emails you signed up for or that come with your purchase. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To reply to you, review coaching applications and run coaching calls.
- To understand which pages and ads work, and to improve the sites.
- To honor the book guarantee, prevent fraud, and keep the records the law requires.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only with the services that run this business, and only what each one needs:
- Stripe: payments.
- Lulu: prints and ships your paperback (name, shipping address, phone, email).
- EmailOctopus and MailerLite: email delivery and lists.
- Netlify: website hosting and form submissions.
- Google Calendar: call booking.
- Resend: internal alerts to us if an order fails.
- Rybbit and Meta: analytics and advertising, as described above.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
Some US state laws call the Meta Pixel’s ad measurement “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described below.
Your choices
- Emails: click unsubscribe in any email, or write to us.
- Ads and cookies: block or clear cookies in your browser, change your ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account under Ad preferences, or use the industry opt-out at optout.aboutads.info. The sites work without them.
- Your data: email info@menaftermarriage.com to ask what we hold about you, or to correct it, delete it, or opt out of its use for advertising. We’ll answer within 30 days. Wherever you live, we honor these requests, though we keep order records the law requires us to keep.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, typically seven years. We keep email list data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep applications and messages as long as they’re useful for the conversation they belong to.
Security
Both sites run over HTTPS. Payment details stay with Stripe. Book files are delivered through private links rather than public addresses. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.
Age
These sites are for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date above. For a significant change, we’ll also tell people on our email list.
